What is Csv2Email?
Csv2Email is a web app for Klaviyo. It turns a Klaviyo drag-and-drop email template into a spreadsheet, then turns each filled-in row back into its own draft Klaviyo campaign, up to 5 at a time. It's for marketers who send lots of similar emails and are tired of copying content into Klaviyo's editor by hand.
Can I export a Klaviyo email template to CSV?
Yes. Pick any drag-and-drop template in your Klaviyo account and Csv2Email downloads a zip: a CSV with every editable text, image and alt-text field, pre-filled with the template's current content, plus a copy of each image.
What does the CSV template look like?
Each row is one new campaign, up to 5 per upload. Columns hold the campaign name, subject line and preview text, then one column per piece of text (text1, text2, …) and one per image, each followed by its alt text. Leave a cell blank to keep the template's current content.
Which Klaviyo templates are supported?
Templates built with Klaviyo's drag-and-drop editor. Classic and code-your-own HTML templates aren't supported.
Can I use Excel or Google Sheets?
Yes. Any spreadsheet app that saves a CSV file works, including Excel (save as "CSV UTF-8"), Google Sheets and Numbers. Or skip the spreadsheet and fill in your campaigns right in the browser.
Is this for importing contacts into Klaviyo?
No. Klaviyo's own CSV import handles contacts and lists. Csv2Email uses a spreadsheet for your email content (text, images and alt text), and you pick each campaign's audience from your existing Klaviyo lists and segments.
Does Csv2Email send or schedule my emails?
No. Every campaign is created as an unsent draft in Klaviyo. You review it, set your sender details, and schedule or send it from Klaviyo yourself.
How many campaigns can I create?
Up to 5 per upload, one per spreadsheet row. Each campaign you build uses one build from your plan's allowance: 5 on Free a month, then 20 a month on Starter, 80 on Studio and 750 on Agency.
